Daire Taylor

I picked up a guitar only because my brother had bought one and got sick Of trying to learn it. Soon after I was turned on to the music of Bob Dylan and Haven’t put it down since. I had finally found something to combine with my Love of English and writing which had nothing to do with school. I began listening Heavily to Dylan, The Band, Neil Young, Bruce Sprinsteen, classic American folk/rock. I cut my musical Teeth on the open mic circuit in Dublin, playing anywhere I was let on stage to Improve my voice and performance. I quit my job in Dublin to concentrate on music.I flew to New York to my brothers couch where I spent a few months busking in subway Stations and playin open mics and songwriter sessions all over the city, playing dayAnd night. I am now back in Ireland and have just released my debut E.P ‘The Hidden Maps’.
