Accomplished singer-songwriter/guitarist Donnacha Toomey has just released his new album entitled "Carnival of Colours" Following recent solo appearances at festivals including "Spirit of Voice" in Galway, "Exile on South Main St." in Wexford and the "Limerick Acoustic Guitar Festival" Donnacha has shared the stage with a number of well established performers including Freddie White, Luka Bloom, Sheila Chandra, Director, Hazel O'Connor and Clive Carroll.
"Carnival of Colours" is Toomey's debut album release, an 11 track studio recording which serves as an introduction to his solo roots based material.
Since its release, tracks from "Carnival of Colours" have been featured on radio stations including RTE Radio 1, RTE Raidio na Gaeltachta, numerous BBC radio stations and 4FM. The album has also received significant airplay on a number of radio stations in the United States.
