First and Foremost BEBO USERS go to wwww.bebo.com/justinkblack Raised on the warm, muddy waters of the Mississippi River in the city of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Justin Black gathered the influences of Blues, Rock, R&B, Jazz, Folk, and even a fragment of Country and combined them together to create a completely original way with lyrics accompanied by a unique rhythm of percussive guitar playing. Although hailing from Arkansas, Nashville is another welcoming home to Justin. He spent 3 years of his life on Music Row in which he refers to as “The Ponder Years”. Having gained valuable experience 20-year-old Justin set sail across the sea for Ireland… in the air of course. Justin began touring Ireland and writing more in a month than he previously would have penned in a year. The “dream” of becoming a professional musician was at last becoming a “reality”. After 3 years of many late night gigs and miles travelled across Ireland, Justin has teamed up with Zavvi/Virgin Records. With the help of air play on BBC Radio Ulster, namely John Toal and Gerry Andersons popular shows, Justin has just released his debut single, “Sold”. The witty song, already a favourite unreleased, is beginning to storm www.myspace.com and radio stations across Northern Ireland. The single has captured the attention of chart breaking artist, Luan Parle, most famous for her single, “Ghost”, which was performed on the Late Late Show and reached number 7 in the Irish music charts. After a guest spot on one of her shows, Luan and her management asked Justin to write a duet for the two to record and release. The duet is currently in the studio production stage. In the next 6 months Justin has numerous Festivals and Shows of his own and plans on releasing an album to follow up his self-written single “Sold”.
