Over recent months, several artists and labels have asked us if it would be possible to associate words with tracks rather than numbers.

For instance, to allow the user txt:

track love to 80818 for a track called 'Love Me Do'

instead of

track 1234 to 80818

We are delighted to announce that we have introduced this functionality into our system, and that words of up to 9 characters in length can now be substituted for track ids in txt message instructions.

Words can be added for existing tracks and new tracks. To add words to your tracks, login to textatrack.co.uk and select the tracks for which you want to add words from the Manage Tracks list.

Please note that certain terms and conditions arise in relation to the use of words, so we advise taking a quick look at our FAQ before you commit to the use of a word.
