im a singer/songwriter guitarist from dublin playing mostly american roots music, a lifelong rockabilly fanatic with a fascination for vintage guitars,eddie cochran and chet atkins.
for a number of years ive dabbled in irish music supporting the bigger names in that scene which led me into the oletime/bluegrass style which in turn led me straight back into the rockabilly music,
after playing an endless list of gigs a number of radio guest slots i decided its hightime i record a will nolan album featuring as many of my songs as possible from my musical journey in which you'll find elements of blues,jazz,oletime,bluegrass,irish traditional and last but not least rockabilly.
im currently putting the finishing touches on my album titled PIN UP'S HOTRODS,ARCHTOP GUITARS which will be available for download here or mail order on the LAPTAR label which was recorded in the laptar studios ,
with this solo project i decided to play all the instruments myself where possible, guitar,bass and banjo with paul farrell on drums and bass on two tracks which brought new life to the oldest tracks id written MY HOMETOWN and SUNRISE
